Ormado Rewards is a mobile loyalty application designed for customers of Ormado Kaffeehaus. The app brings rewards, payments, offers, and customer benefits together in one accessible experience.
Users can collect stamps, follow their loyalty progress, explore promotions, invite friends, receive birthday rewards, add funds to their balance, and make quick in-store payments using a QR code. The platform also introduces three loyalty levels, each offering a different set of benefits.
My role was to transform these features into a clear and engaging mobile experience that encourages customers to return, participate, and build a stronger relationship with the brand.
Loyalty applications often include several connected systems, such as rewards, levels, offers, payments, referrals, and account information. When these features are presented without a clear hierarchy, users may struggle to understand what they have earned or what they should do next.
The challenge was to make the experience feel rewarding without overwhelming users with numbers, statuses, and promotional content.
The application also needed to support fast interactions inside a busy coffee shop. Customers should be able to open the app, access their QR code, check their balance, or view their rewards within seconds.
At the same time, the interface needed to reflect the warm and premium atmosphere of the Ormado brand.

The home screen gives users a clear overview of their balance, loyalty status, available rewards, and relevant offers. Important actions remain visible, allowing customers to quickly access their QR code or explore current benefits.
The stamp system turns repeat visits into visible progress, while loyalty levels give users a longer-term reason to stay engaged. Clear labels and progress indicators help customers understand their current level and the benefits they can unlock next.
The balance feature simplifies in-store payments by allowing customers to add funds and present a QR code at checkout. Referral rewards, birthday gifts, and promotional offers add more opportunities for users to receive value from the application.
The result is a simple but engaging loyalty experience that supports faster payments, stronger retention, and a more meaningful connection between customers and the Ormado brand.
Designing Ormado Rewards showed how important transparency is in a loyalty product.
Users are more likely to participate when they can clearly see their progress, understand the value of each reward, and access benefits without unnecessary steps.
The key lesson was that a successful loyalty experience should not feel like a collection of promotions. It should feel like a continuous journey in which every visit creates visible progress and every interaction gives the customer something meaningful in return.
